The Mike Clover Group at Homewood Mortgage is a close-knit group of experienced mortgage professionals dedicated to getting their clients the best loans in the shortest amount of time.

Group leader Mike Clover is a Native Texan from Fort Worth. Married for 15 years and the father of 2 girls and a boy, he joined Homewood Mortgage LLC in 2002 and built a team with a common goal: To provide low rates, low fees, fast closings, and exceptional service.

Every member of the team has at least 10 years' experience in mortgage lending, and each shares Mike's strong belief in GOD, family, and doing the right thing.

They pride themselves on being available to their clients days, evenings, and even week-ends in order to ensure the timely communication that leads to smooth transactions.

They're also justifiably proud that their referral business comes not just from real estate professionals, but from past clients as well. This is no doubt due to the fact that along with a friendly manner they use teamwork, advanced technology, automated underwriting systems, and persistence to help families and individuals across Texas own their own homes.

The Mike Clover Team has developed a broad knowledge of programs and stable relationships with a host of wholesale lenders – giving them the diversity to place loans for many hopeful homebuyers who have been denied elsewhere.

Homewood Mortgage stands out in the loan industry for its practice of pre-underwriting loans before giving out approval letters. This allows prospective homeowners to shop with confidence, knowing that unless something in their life changes, they will get their loan.

Although Homewood Mortgage LLC opened its doors in 2001, the founding family has a history in the State of Texas dating back to 1883, when John Henry Rasor rented a farm near Plano, Texas from Texas State Senator James R. Gough. He went on to purchase that farm and eventually to play a significant role in the cotton industry, with a spread that covered nearly 4,000 acres.

Rasor Drive in Frisco, Rasor Boulevard in Collin County, and Rasor Elementary school and William Henry "Buzz" Rasor Park in Plano all attest to the family's continuing contributions to Texas society.
